Vivo is expected to soon announce its first S-series 5G smartphone. The handset may debut by the end of this month or early in April. The Chinese firm has been teasing on its arrival since a couple of days. Today, it released a new teaser of the phone. The image only shows the bottom portion of its rear shell.
The Vivo S6 5G will be replacing the Vivo S5 phone from last year. The new image shows that the Vivo S6 5G’s rear shell curves towards the edges. The body of the Vivo S5 was made out of glass. Hence, the successor phone also seems to be equipped with a glass back.
The bottom edge of the phone has a speaker grille, a USB-C port, a microphone and a SIM card slot. The presence of a USB-C port is a good hint that the Vivo S6 5G supports rapid charging technology.
Recently, a Vivo smartphone that has a model number of V1962BC with 5G support was certified by the 3C authority of China. The 3C listing of the phone had revealed that it could be accompanied by an 18W fast charger.
The other details of the Vivo S6 5G are not available at the moment. However, since it is an S-series selfie-centric phone from the company, it is expected to arrive with a stellar front-facing camera. Hopefully, more details of the phone will appear in the coming days.
