Yesterday, a mysterious OPPO smartphone carrying the model number PDAM10 was certified by the Chinese TENAA authority. Although the listing revealed pretty much the entire key specs of the upcoming smartphone, but images of the device were omitted.
Today, the OPPO PDAM10 listing on TENAA has finally been updated with a couple real live images of the device showing off the front and rear design of the handset.
At first glance, the rear design of the OPPO PDAM10 somehow reminds us of the Samsung Galaxy S20 probably due to it’s similar-looking camera module.
At the front, the device utilizes a hole-punched display with minimal bezels along it’s two sides. According to the listing, the front display is said to measures approximately 6.5-inches diagonally and has a mediocre 720 x 1,600 pixels screen resolution.
Under the hood, the OPPO PDAM10 is driven by an octa-core SoC which is clocked at 2.0 GHz. It has an option of either 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB onboard storage space.
Moving on to it’s camera compartment, the triple-camera setup on the back comprises of a 12 megapixels main shooter, 2 megapixels primary sensor, as well as another 2 megapixels tertiary shooter. It will be completed with an 8 megapixels selfie camera at the front.
To keep its lights on, there will be a massive 4,100mAh battery which is unlikely to support any fast-charging feature given that the device is an entry-level smartphone. On the software-side, it is expected to boot on the latest ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 OS.
At current stage, the identity of this smartphone remain a mystery.
