LG Velvet has been spotted in a new hands-on video

Recently, we’d already seen the real life images of the upcoming LG Velvet smartphone which show off the device in all its available colorways. Now, the device has made its public appearance once again in a hands-on video which was uploaded on YouTube.

No doubt, the LG Velvet is definitely one of the best designed smartphones which we’d even seen on the market. The device features a dual-curved front and back panel which LG describes as a flowing form factor which is “both pleasing to the eye and pleasing to touch”. Moreover, its triple-camera setup on its rear also employs a “raindrop” design which is unlike any of the camera arrangements we’d seen among other smartphones.

Ahead of its launch, most of the LG Velvet’s key specs had already been confirmed by LG, as well as recent leaks. As a recap, the device will be sporting a 6.8-inches Cinema FullVision AMOLED display that delivers an impressive 20.5:9 tall aspect ratio.

The rear cameras of the device comprises of a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 5 megapixels depth sensor. This will be completed with a 16 megapixels selfie camera at the front.

Under the hood, the LG Velvet will be driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage which is further expandable via a microSD card. The device also comes with 5G connectivity which has the capability to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.

To keep its lights on, there is a respectable 4,300mAh battery which is capable of supporting 10W wireless charging according to its Wireless Power Consortium listing. The LG Velvet will be offered in four different color variants including Aurora White, Aurora Gray, Aurora Green, and Illusion Sunset.
