Huawei will be launching the Huawei Enjoy Z smartphone in China on May 24. It is expected to break cover as the cheapest 5G-ready Huawei branded phone. Ahead of the launch, the handset is up for reservations on Chinese retailer sites. Rumors have claimed that the Enjoy Z features the Dimensity 800 SoC. A Geekbench listing of the smartphone has appeared to reveal that the phone will be indeed arriving with Dimensity 800 chipset.
It is believed that the Huawei DVC-AN00 smartphone that has appeared on Geekbench could be forthcoming Enjoy Z smartphone. The listing reveals that the smartphone is fueled by MediaTek’s MT6873 that has a base frequency of 2.0GHz. The MT6873 is the model number of the Dimensity 800 SoC. The 7nm octa-core chipset has four Cortex-A76 CPU cores and four ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores both working at 2GHz. It includes Mali-G57MC4 GPU.
The variant of the Enjoy Z that has appeared on Geekbench has 6 GB of RAM. The smartphone is loaded with Android 10 OS. In the single-core test of Geekbench, it recorded a 2539 score and it reached 8436 score in the multi-core test.
The listings of the Enjoy Z at Chinese retailer sites have revealed that the phone will come in three variants such as 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. The phone will be available in Midnight Black, Sakura Pink and Dark Blue colors.
The handset is said to be equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera system on its back. There is no word on the pricing of the smartphone.
