ZTE has announced a new entry-level handset known as the ZTE Blade A3 Prime which will be available via Visible and Yahoo Mobile in the U.S. market. Carrying a price tag of just US$99, the Blade A3 Prime is one of the few sub-$100 smartphone available in the U.S. market.
The device comes with a 5.45-inches HD+ LCD display at the front and has huge bezels at the top and bottom of the device. It will be powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC alongside 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. Good thing is that the device is able to support microSD card for memory expansion.
In terms of photography, the ZTE Blade A3 Prime has an 8 megapixels rear camera and a 5 megapixels selfie camera at the front. There will also be a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, as well as other typical connectivity options including 4G LTE connectivity and Bluetooth 4.2 LE.
To keep its lights on, there will be a modest 2,660mAh battery which will be able to comfortably support hours of basic usage on the go.
