According to a product catalog published by Xiaomi Philippines for the month of July – August, an unannounced Redmi 9A has been listed as part of its upcoming product. This device however, sounds pretty familiar to most of us as it had already been leaked earlier on, and was also recently certified by the FCC.
Based on the specifications listed on the product catalog, the upcoming Redmi 9A will feature a 6.53-inches dewdrop-notch display which boasts a HD+ screen resolution. It is a pretty standard design similar to most other entry-level smartphones we see within the market.
In its camera department, it was revealed that the device will be fitted with an 8 megapixels main camera at the rear, as well as a 5 megapixels selfie camera at the front.
Under the hood, the Redmi 9A will be driven by a modest MediaTek Helio G25 SoC which has a maximum clock speed of 2.0GHz. Although not listed, but it is likely that the device will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage according to the earlier leak.
Last but not the least, the Redmi 9A will draw power from a massive 5,000mAh battery at the helm. Coming to its pricing, the Redmi 9A will allegedly be priced between €100 (US$111) to €120 (US$134).
It won’t be hard to see that the Redmi 9A will be competing with the upcoming Realme C11 which will fall within the same price segment.
