Yesterday, Vivo has released a new teaser for the upcoming Vivo S7 which partially revealed the rear design of the highly anticipated handset. Shortly after that, the Chinese smartphone maker has released the official render with a clearer look at its rear design as well.
Just like the recently announced Vivo X50 smartphone series, the upcoming Vivo S7 also has an unique-looking rectangular camera housing on the top-left corner of its rear chassis. It will feature a triple-cameras system which will include a 64 megapixels main camera as revealed by the wording etched to the left-hand side of the camera housing.
Besides the right of its LED flash, there was also a wording which read “Hybrid Zoom”. This hints that the device will also be arriving with a telephoto lens this time round. As for the third camera, it will likely be an ultra-wide lens.
As far as its specs are concerned, the Vivo S7 is expected to be driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 765G SoC which will bring 5G support for both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.
This time round, the Vivo S7 will be arriving with a top-notch design for its front panel in place of a mainstream hole-punch or dewdrop-notch design. It is rumored that the front notch will be home to a pair of selfie cameras which will include a 44 megapixels main camera as well as an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens.
Moving on, the lack of side or rear-mounted fingerprint sensor also suggested that the device will continue to feature a AMOLED panel with in-display fingerprint scanner.
