iQOO will be launching the iQOO 5 series on Aug. 17. Recently, iQOO was present at the ChinaJoy tech expo that was held in China. At the tech trade show, the company showcased its 120W ultra-fast charging technology. It had demonstrated the technology using a mysterious phone that was enclosed in a protective case. The rumor mill believed that the device could be the iQOO 5. A well-known tipster from China has shared an image of the iQOO 5’s high-end version to reveal its front design.
According to the leakster, the high-end version of the iQOO 5 has a Samsung-made display. The display is curved its left and right edges. A punch-hole can be seen at the upper-left corner of the display.
The tipster did not reveal the size of the screen. The AMOLED display is very likely to be integrated with a fingerprint reader. The right edge of the phone has a volume rocker and a power key.
The iQOO 5 is believed to be packed with a 4,000mAh battery. The smartphone will come with support for 120W fast charging. The company claims that it can fully charge the iQOO 5 in 15 minutes. The Snapdragon 865 mobile platform will be fueling the device.
iQOO has already confirmed that the iQOO 5 has LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1. The model number of the handset is V2024A and it is now up for reservations in China through JD.com.
