Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Doraemon Edition launched & its really cute!

To commemorate Doraemon’s 50th anniversary, Xiaomi has launched a brand new Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Doraemon Edition smartphone which comes with a really cute Doraemon-themed rear design and a suite of specially curated accessories and retail box.

To make things better, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Doraemon Edition will cost the same as the standard model which makes it even more worth. For the 8GB+256GB model, it will set you back with a price of just 2,799 Yuan (US$408/ S$554) in the Chinese market.

Other than its appealing design, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition (Mi 10 Lite 5G) also comes with an attractive specs sheet. At the front, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition features a 6.57-inches AMOLED display which has an impressive FHD+ screen resolution and HDR10+ support. It employs a dewdrop-notch design for its front panel to house a 16 megapixels selfie camera, and has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Over on its flip-side, the device touts a squarish camera module which is home to a quad-camera array. This includes a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 8 megapixels periscope lens, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. The key highlight of its quad-cameras system will definitely be its periscope camera which is able to achieve up to 5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition is driven by the Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage space. In terms of connectivity, the device is able to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes.

To keep its lights on, there will be a respectable 4,160mAh battery which carries support for 20W fast-charging. As usual, the device will run on the latest MIUI 11 based on Android 10 OS.

At current stage, there is no official words where this special edition handset will be making its way to the global market.
