Vivo V20 Pro launched with Snapdragon 765G, 44MP Dual Selfie Cameras & 33W Fast-charging

Vivo is expected to launch the company’s latest V20 series smartphones in a number of South-East Asian markets within the next couple of weeks. The new V20 series lineup will be coming in three different flavors including the Vivo V20 SE, Vivo V20, as well as Vivo V20 Pro.

Right now, Thailand has become the first market to officially launch the highest-end model among the trio – Vivo V20 Pro. This device is in fact, the rebranded model of the Vivo S7 which was launched in China back in August this year.

For starter, the Vivo V20 Pro is built around a 6.5-inches AMOLED display which boasts a FHD+ screen resolution as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner. Interestingly, the device features a top-notch which houses a pair of selfie cameras including a 44 megapixels primary shooter assisted by an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens for group selfies.

Over at the back, there will be a familiar-looking camera housing which shows deep resemblance to what we’d seen from the Vivo X50 Pro (Review). The three cameras include a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels monochrome lens.

Under the hood, the Vivo S7 will be equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 765G SoC paired with 8GB worth of RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage. It will draw power from a respectable 4,000mAh battery which carries support for 33W fast-charging.

For those who’re interested, the device will be offered in three different color variants that include Sunset Melody, Midnight Jazz, as well as Moonlight Sonata.

In Thailand, the device is priced at THB14,999 (US$479) for its sole 8GB+256GB model.
