Huawei Mate X2 Wi-FI Certified; Launch Could be Close at Hand

The October month will see the arrival of the Huawei Mate 40 series in China. While Huawei fans are expecting to see the arrival of the Huawei Mate X2 to rival with the recently announced Galaxy Z Fold 2 foldable phone by Samsung. It appears that the arrival of the Mate X2 is inching near. The reason behind it is that it was recently spotted in the database of China’s TENAA authority and now it has bagged Wi-Fi Alliance certification.

At TENAA, the Huawei Mate X2 was spotted with model number TET-AN00. The letters TET denotes the “Teton” codename of the device. The TENAA listing of the device is yet to be updated with its entire specifications.

The TET-NX9 model number which seemingly belongs to the international version of the Mate X2 has received Wi-Fi certification. The listing reveals that it is equipped with Wi-Fi 6 and it is preinstalled with Android 10 OS. The Chinese tipster who was first to reveal about the listing states that the device is equipped with Kirin 9000 series chipset.

Huawei Mate X2 Specifications (Rumored)

Reports surrounding the Huawei Mate X2 have revealed that it will be equipped with an 8.3-inch foldable screen provided by Samsung Display. It will support 2280 x 2220 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be sporting an inward folding design.

The camera setup of the device will comprise of a 40-megapixel main camera, an ultrawide lens of 40-megapixel, a telephoto sensor of 12-megpaixel, and a ToF lens. The foldable phone may arrive with up to 512 GB of storage and 16 GB of RAM. It could be housing a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
