Vivo has quietly announced a new 5G mid-ranger smartphone in the Chinese market known as the Vivo Y73s. It will be another affordable 5G smartphone priced at just 1,998 Yuan (US$298).
For starter, the Vivo Y73s is built around a 6.44-inches AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution and carries support for HDR10 as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner. It comes with the usual dewdrop-notch design at the front that houses a 16 megapixels selfie camera.
Over at the back, there will be an elongated, vertical camera module which play host to a triple camera setup alongside a LED flash. These cameras include a 48 megapixels (f/2.0 aperture) primary shooter, 8 megapixels (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) depth sensor.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y73s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset coupled with a standard 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department.
To keep its light on, the Vivo Y73s draws power from a respectable 4,100mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. As usual, it will boot on the custom FuntouchOS 10.5 based on Android 10 OS.
For those who’re interested, the device is available in both Silver and Black color options.
