A Russian tech blog recently reported that a new Honor phone with model number DNN-LX9 will debuting soon in Russia. The publication had also shared the live shots of the device, which is codenamed as Dingdang and claimed that it will be made official soon. Today, GSMArena reported that it received new images of the handset along with some specs.
The publication claims that the device will be arriving as an X-series handset. As can be seen in the images, the phone will be available in three colors like black, green, and silver.
The mysterious Honor phone features a 6.67-inch display. Neither the previously seen image, nor the new images show the entire display of the phone. The phone is backed by a big battery of 5,000mAh battery and there is support for Huawei’s SuperCharge fast charging technology. However, the exact charging speeds that will be supported by the device is not mentioned in the report.
The bottom edge of the Honor phone features an external speaker, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone carries support for NFC connectivity and it appears that the rectangle-shaped camera housing houses four cameras. The other specs of the Honor DNN-LX9 are yet to be revealed.
Russia will be the first market to receive the smartphone. It is expected to be priced between RUB 18,000 ($230) and RUB 21,000 ($270) in the country. Later, it will be also made available in other markets. Rumors are rife that the device will be made official soon. Sadly, the exact name of the phone remains a mystery.
