Huawei Mate 30E Pro launched in China with Kirin 990E chipset

Besides launching the Mate 40 series smartphones, Huawei has quietly announced an updated version of last year’s Mate 30 Pro.

This device, marketed as the Mate 30E Pro, will be powered by a slightly more powerful Kirin 990E chipset. Other than the difference in the underlying chip, the rest of the specs remain unchanged.

The Huawei Mate 30E Pro will continue to arrive with a 6.53-inches OLED display with 1176 x 2400 pixels screen resolution. It will feature the same top notch at the front that houses a pair of 32 megapixels selfie camera along with a 3D ToF scanner.

Over at the back, there will be a familiar Halo Ring camera housing which play host to a quad camera system consisting of a 40 megapixels primary shooter, 40 megapixels ultra-wide, 8 megapixels telephoto camera, as well as a 3D ToF sensor for depth sensing.

At the helm, the Huawei Mate 30E Pro is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that carries support for ultra-fast 40W wired charging and 27W wireless charging. On top of that, it is also able to support reverse charging.

As of now, the official pricing of the device has yet to be revealed. However, it will be available in 5 different color options including Black, Cosmic Purple, Emerald Green, Space Silver, Green (Vegan Leather), as well as Orange (Vegan Leather).
