Huawei is at present silent on the Nova 8 series that is expected to launch in November. The probable reason behind it is that the company could be currently focused on the Mate 40 series launch for China that is scheduled to take place on Oct. 30. A new Huawei phone with model number JSC-AN00 / JSC-TN00 that was previously approved by MIIT authority has now bagged approval from the 3C regulatory body.
The 3C appearance of the JSC-AN00 / TN00 Huawei phone has revealed that it is a 5G phone. The next thing that is revealed through the 3C listing is that its retail package may include a Huawei charger that has a model number of HW-110600C00. It is the same 66W charger that accompanies the Mate 40 series.
The 3C listing of the device has no information on the other specs of the phone. Also, it is not clear which of the rumored Nova 8 series phone is the JSC-AN00 / TN00 device. The Nova 8 family reportedly includes three models namely, the Nova 8, Nova 8 Pro, and Nova 8 SE.
All three Nova 8 handsets are expected to arrive with 66W fast charging support. One of the leaksters who revealed about the 3C listing has said that the YOR-AN00, YOR-TN00, YOR-AN00s, and YOR-N49 all belong to the Honor V40 series.
Speaking about the Honor V40 series, the leakster said that it could be driven by the Kirin 9000 chipset and a 6.72-inch curved edge dual punch-hole display with high refresh rate support by BOE or Visionox. These specs could be also available on the JSC-AN00 / TN00 phone. Hence, it appears that it could be the Nova 8 or Nova 8 Pro handset, and not the Nova 8 SE.
