Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite FCC Listing Appears to Confirm Key Features

Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi Mi Watch in November last year and its stripped-down version named Mi Watch Color was unveiled in December.  Recently, the company unveiled the Mi Watch Color Sports Edition as its updated version. Now, a new wearable tech from the brand called the Mi Watch Lite has been approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The FCC listing has revealed the key features of the device. In September, the device was approved by the UL (Demko) authority.

Among other information, the FCC documents has images of the retail package of the Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite. The frontside of the package has an image of the smartwatch. It shows that the device features a square-shaped display.

The backside of the package reveals that the model number is REDMIWT02. A variant of the device that has a model number of REDMIWT01 was approved by the MIIT authority of China. A tipster had claimed that the device will be launching in China as the Redmi Watch.

The above image shows that the Mi Watch Lite / Redmi Watch is equipped with a 1.41-inch color touchscreen that will come with support for auto-brightness.  The device is equipped with multiple fitness modes.

The Mi Watch Lite carries support 24-hour heart rate monitor and a built-in GPS. It is a 50ATM water-resistant device, which makes it possible to support swimming stroke recognition. The device is backed by a 30mAH battery that supports 5W charging.
