Vivo had announced a new mid-ranger smartphone known as the Vivo Y12s which is already available in a number of Asian markets including Hong Kong and Vietnam.
The Vivo Y12s is built around a 6.51-inches LCD display that boasts a HD+ screen resolution. It has a typical dewdrop notch at the front which houses a modest 8 megapixels selfie camera.
Over at the back, the device features a rectangular camera module that come along with a dual camera system consisting of a 13 megapixels (f/2.2 aperture) primary shooter, as well as a 2 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) secondary helper.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y12s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 chipset coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep its lights on, the Vivo Y12s is fitted with a 5,000mAh battery that lacks of fast-charging support. It will boot on the FuntouchOS 11 based on Android 10 OS.
For those who’re interested, the device will be available in both Phantom Black and Glacier Blue colorways. In Hong Kong, it will be priced at HK$1,098 (US$142) for its 3GB+32GB variant.
