Following the launch of the OnePlus 8T (Review) last month, all eyes are now turning toward the company’s next flagship devices – OnePlus 9 series – which will reportedly break cover during the first-quarter of the year.
Although we are still months away from its official unveiling, but that doesn’t stops anyone from leaking renders or information on the device ahead of time. Today, courtesy of reputable leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, we’re finally able to have our first near-official look at the upcoming OnePlus 9 Pro.
Starting with the front, the OnePlus 9 Pro shares a close resemblance to the current OnePlus 8 Pro with a familiar-looking curved display and a single hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner.
At the back however, we will see a huge departure from the OnePlus 8 Pro. Not only is the camera module relocated, but it also comes with an all-new design that houses up to four cameras alongside a dual-tone LED flash. Likewise, the iconic OnePlus logo will remain at the middle of the back panel once again.
At current stage, there isn’t much information pertaining to the official specs of the OnePlus 9 Pro. However, a recent Geekbench listing had suggested that the device will be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset which of course, isn’t much of a surprise at all.
Other than the OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus is also reportedly working on another pair of mid-rangers known as the OnePlus Nord SE and OnePlus Nord 2 (codenamed Denniz) which are also expected to be launched next year.
