Yesterday, Redmi announced the Redmi Watch as its first wearable tech in China. There have been speculations that the same device may sell as the Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite outside of China. Fresh information reveals that the global launch of the Redmi Watch and Mi Watch Lite could be drawing as they have bagged approval from the Bluetooth SIG authority.
The Bluetooth SIG listing shows the Redmi Watch with REDMIWT01 model number and the Mi Watch Lite with REDMIWT02 model number. Apart from the support for Bluetooth 5.1, no other details on their specs are mentioned in the listing. The Bluetooth certification that both devices could be heading for global release.

Some markets like India may receive the Redmi Watch, whereas other markets like Europe may get the Mi Watch Lite. It is advisable to wait for further reports to know Xiaomi will aiming these products in different markets.

As far as fitness features are concerned, the Redmi Watch has features like 7 sports modes, sleep tracking, sedentary monitoring, breathing exercises, and 30-day heart rate monitoring. When it comes to connectivity, it is equipped with GPS and NFC. The Redmi Watch also supports Xiao AI smart assistant. In China, the smartwatch carries a price tag of 299 Yuan (~$45) and it comes in color options like Black, Ivory, Cherry Pink, Needle Green, and Blue Ink.
