After launching a series of TCL 10-series devices this year, the company will soon be back with another mid-ranger phone dubbed as the TCL 20 5G which will reportedly be announced in early 2021.
Ahead of its official launch, the alleged renders and specs of the device had already been leaked by renowned leaker Evan Blass. Based on the render published, the TCL 20 5G will settle for a central hole-punch design for its front display which is said to measure 6.67-inches diagonally and has a FHD+ screen resolution.
At the back, the TCL 20 5G has a triple camera system aligned vertically within an elongated camera housing. These cameras are said to include a 48 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. This will be accompanied by an 8 megapixels selfie camera over at the front.
Under the hood, the TCL 20 5G is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 690 chipset that will allow the device to support 5G connectivity in both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes. It’ll be paired with 6GB RAM as well as an option between 128GB and 256GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep its lights on, the device is fitted with a respectable 4,500mAh battery that can supports long hours of continuous usage on the go. Other than that, its also worth noting that the device features a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
