The upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 series is expected to be the first in the world to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 chipset. Recent reports have suggested that the Mi 11 series is likely to be launched later this month although there isn’t any specific information with regards to its actual launch date.
Right now, a refresh report has claimed that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 series could be launched on December 29th later this month though they didn’t claim whether this will be a global launch or a local launch in the Chinese market.
Over the weekend, a set of alleged live images of the Mi 11 had been leaked out revealing its full design in full entirety. Since the design corroborates the earlier leaked renders, there’s a high possibility that the Mi 11 is indeed featuring a redesigned camera housing which will be squarish in shape this time round.
Unlike the current Xiaomi Mi 10 that comes with a quad camera system, the upcoming Mi 11 will be focusing on just three cameras at the back. These cameras are said to include a 108 megapixels primary shooter, 13 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 5 megapixels macro camera.
Although its front design remains pretty much a mystery for the time being, but rumors have claimed that the “Pro” model will be arriving with an AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
Other than that, the Mi 11 is also tipped to feature a massive 4,780mAh battery that carries support for 55W fast-charging out of the box.
