Vivo has announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the Vivo Y30 standard edition which will be catering towards the budget segment.
For starter, the Vivo Y30 Standard Edition is built around a 6.51-inches LCD display that offers a modest HD+ screen resolution. The front display comes with a usual dewdrop-notch design that brings along an 8 megapixels selfie camera.
Under the hood, it’ll be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 chipset alongside 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
For photography, the Vivo Y30 Standard Edition relies on a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 13 megapixels primary snapper and a 2 megapixels depth sensor for portrait shots.
Keeping its lights on will be a massive 5,000mAh battery that comes with 10W standard charging support. Other than that, the device also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and the highly-coveted 3.5mm headphone jack.
In the Chinese market, the Vivo Y30 Standard Edition will retail at 1,398 Yuan (US$214) for its sole 6GB+126GB variant.
