Samsung Galaxy A32 5G with Dimensity 720 Spotted at Geekbench

Samsung is reportedly working on the launch of the Galaxy A32 5G phone. It is expected to debut as the cheapest 5G-enabled smartphone from Samsung. The CAD renders of the phone had appeared earlier this month. Today, the phone has emerged at the Geekbench benchmarking platform to reveal some of its key specs.

On Geekbench 5, the Galaxy A32 5G (mentioned with SM-A326B model number) has scored 478 in the single-core test and 1595 in the multi-core test. The listing reveals that the MediaTek MT6853V SoC that has a base speed of 2.0GHz is present under the hood of the device.

The MT6853 model number indicates that the Galaxy A32 5G is driven by the Dimensity 720 chipset. The SoC is coupled with 4 GB of RAM. The device is preinstalled with Android 11 OS. In China, phones featuring the Dimensity 720 chipset are the cheapest 5G-ready phones. The Galaxy A32 5G powered by the Dimensity 720 could be debut as one of the most affordable 5G phones in the market.

The Galaxy A42 5G that has a starting price of 369 euros is currently the lowest priced 5G phone from Samsung. Probably, the Galaxy A32 5G could be priced at 299 euros or 329 euros in the European markets.

The Galaxy A32 5G CAD renders leak had revealed that it will be sporting a 6.5-inch display with a waterdrop notch. The rear side of the phone has a distinct camera module that includes a triple camera system with an unknown sensor and an LED flash alongside it. It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Speculations are rife that it has a 48-megapixel primary camera and it is backed by a 5,000mAh battery.
