Alleged Honor V40 Series Phone Spotted at GameBench with Dimensity 1000+ Chip

Honor is rumored to announce the Honor V40 smartphone in China on Jan. 12. While the rumor mill has spilled some information about the smartphone, the company is yet to reveal any of its details. Today, a Weibo user has shared the GameBench benchmarks listing of the alleged Honor V40 series phone. The listing reveals that the phone could be powered by the Dimensity 1000+ chipset.

Recent reports have revealed that the upcoming Honor V40’s model number is YOK-AN10. The Honor handset that has appeared on GameBench has a different model number of NEW-AN10.

The GameBench listing shows that the Honor NEW-AN10’s delivered a media frame rate of 90fps and a frame rate stability of 95 percent. The graph shown in the screenshot shows that the phone maintained a frame of 90fps most of the time. This indicates that the screen of the Honor NEW-AN10 may support a refresh rate of 90Hz.

The listing also revealed that the device is equipped with ARM Mali-G77 GPU. This GPU can be found in the Dimensity 1000+ chipset. Hence, it appears that the NEW-AN10 phone could be equipped with D1000+ SoC.

Probably, there could be two Honor V40 series smartphones in works. The one that has a model number of YOK-AN10 is expected to arrive with support for a 120Hz refresh. It remains to be seen whether the NEW-AN10 with 90Hz screen ends up as a vanilla V40 model or some other device.

Rumors surrounding the YOK-AN10 Honor V40 phone have revealed that it could be shipping with a 66W fast charger. There are speculations that it could be equipped with 45W wireless charging support. The other details of the V40 are currently under wraps.
