Realme Watch 2 Specifications Leaked Through FCC Listing

Realme announced the Realme Watch as its first smartwatch in May last year. Fresh information reveals that the company could be working on the launch of the Realme Watch 2. The upcoming smartwatch has received certification from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S. These certifications suggest that the launch date of the Realme Watch 2 may not be far away.

The FCC certification has revealed that the Realme RMW2008 device will be arriving with Realme Watch 2 moniker. The FCC documents has the user manual and an image of the device. The listing has revealed that the Watch 2’s carries an IP68 rating.

The Realme Watch 2 smartwatch houses a 1.4-inch TFT color display that produces a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. It is backed by a 305mAh battery, which is quite big as its predecessor model featured a 160mAh battery. The Realme Watch 2’s image reveals that it is equipped with a square-shaped dial and a plastic body. The device measures 257.6 x 35.7 x 12.2mm.

The Realme Watch 2 carries support for Bluetooth 5.0 LE and it can be linked with Android 5.0 and above devices. The smartwatch has a wired charging base. The Watch 2 has sensors like SpO2 and heart rate sensor. It also supports other features such as sleeping monitoring, workout modes, message notification, and music control.

There is no word on the launch date of the Realme Watch 2. With the wearable tech bagging important certifications, it appears that the company may announce it in Q1 this year. Like the predecessor mode, the device is likely to arrive with a low price tag.
