Over the past couple of weeks, we’d already learned a great deal about the upcoming OPPO Find X3 Pro, from its design to its specs courtesy of well-accredited leaker Evan Blass.
Now, he’d taken things a step further by publishing a detailed imagery of the device’s rear camera setup along with a couple of real life images depicting the rear camera setup which he claimed is referred internally as the “crater” design.
As you might already have heard, the Find X3 Pro will be coming with an additional camera over its Find X2 Pro (Review) predecessor. The revolutionary quad-camera system is said to be lead by a pair of unannounced 50 megapixels Sony IMX766 imaging sensors for its primary shooter and ultra-wide camera, as well as a 13 megapixels telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and a 3 megapixels “microscope” macro camera.
What’s interesting is that the 3 megapixels macro camera is expected to be one of the headlining features according to Blass who claimed that the macro camera is capable of achieving 25x zoom factor and has a “flash ring” enclosing the lens to provide illumination for close-up subjects.
Besides having an advanced camera system, the Find X3 Pro’s front display is expected to be phenomenal as well. It will be a 6.7-inches display that offers a rich 1440 x 3216 pixels screen resolution and carries support for 10-bit color depth. It also features an advanced adaptatively refresh rate which will automatically switch between 10Hz to 120Hz based on the onscreen contents to lengthen battery life.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset which we will see in majority of the flagship phones this year. So far, its preliminary benchmarking scores on both Geekbench and AnTuTu have been promising as well.
Although it was previously speculated that the OPPO Find X3 Pro could be equipped with the company’s next generation 125W flash charging technology, but Evan had suggested that it will settle with the same 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 flash charging which was used in the current Find X2 Pro. To make up for that, the Find X3 Pro may actually debut with the latest AirVOOC wireless charging solution for an ultra-fast wireless charging.
If nothing goes wrong, the OPPO Find X3 series could debut as early as March next month. Having impressed by last year’s Find X2 Pro, we’re certainly excited to find out what the new Find X3 Pro have in store for us!
