Besides launching the Redmi Note 10 5G series smartphones, Xiaomi is also said to be prepping another smartphone known as the Redmi K40 Light Luxury Edition which is expected to debut in the upcoming weeks.
Now, the Redmi K40 Light Luxury Edition has apparently been spotted on Geekbench which revealed that the phone will indeed by powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset just like what the rumor mills had suggested. On top of that, the same listing also confirmed that the phone will be arriving with 8GB RAM and Android 11 OS out of the box.
Based on what we’d learned so far, the Redmi K40 Light Luxury Edition is expected to arrive with largely similar specs as the recently announced Redmi K40 Gaming Edition except for the difference in their underlying chipset.
Therefore, you can expect the phone to feature the same FHD+ OLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, 64MP triple-camera setup, 16MP selfie camera, 5,065mAh battery, as well as 67W fast-charging support.
