Xiaomi has the brand new Redmi Note 10S smartphone in the Malaysian market which was first announced in India earlier this month. It joins the rest of the Redmi Note 10 series as an affordable mid-ranger offering.
The Redmi Note 10S features a 6.43-inches AMOLED DotDisplay which offers a FHD+ screen resolution and has a 13 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video-calling purposes.
On the imaging front, the phone comes with a quad-camera system lead by a 64 megapixels main camera alongside an 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 10S is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 chipset which is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s light on, the phone is fitted with a massive 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 33W fast-charging support. Other than that, the Redmi Note 10S also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, IP53 rating, as well as MIUI 12.5 (based on Android 11).
In the Malaysian market, the Redmi Note 10S is priced at RM899 (US$217) for it’s 8GB+128GB model. It’s available in three different colorways including Blue, Grey and White.
