Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 & Z Flip3 appear in official-looking renders

We’d already heard from past reports that Samsung is likely to hold the next Unpacked event in August, where the company is expected to launch the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 devices.

Now, thanks to well-accredited leaker Evan Blass, we’re now able to have our first look at this duo way ahead of it’s expected launch date. Seen in the first render, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 seems to don a similar-looking design on the inside as the Z Fold2, with it’s selfie camera placed in the same location as the latter.

On the outside, we do see some notable aesthetic change, especially the design of it’s camera housing which now looks much more subtle than the rectangular module that we saw on the Galaxy Z Fold2. It continues to retain the same camera count, and doesn’t seems to feature any periscope lens this time round as well.

Furthermore, the same render also reaffirmed S-Pen support for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold3 too. If you take a close inspection, there’s actually a “Fold Edition” branding etched onto the upper part of the stylus.

In the second render, we can see the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 sitting on the right side of the Z Fold3. Unlike the current Z Flip, the Galaxy Z Flip3 will be arriving with a dual-tone design on it’s outer shell which also comes with a redesigned vertically stacked cameras.

Although we now have a pretty clear idea on the design of Samsung’s upcoming foldables, but the specs of these devices remain largely a mystery at the moment. However, we can expect to hear more about them in the coming days.
