OPPO will soon be launching a new 5G smartphone known as the OPPO A93s 5G which was recently spotted on Chinese Telecom’s database. Based on it’s specs, this device appears to be based largely on the OPPO A93 5G, amidst a different chipset.
According to the listing, the OPPO A93s 5G is listed with a 6.5” LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution alongside an unspecified refresh rate. It also gets a hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner of the screen which is home to an 8 megapixels selfie camera.
Around the back of the phone, it sports a rectangular camera island which houses a quad-camera system consisting of a 48 megapixels main camera, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels auxiliary cameras.
Under the hood, the OPPO A93s 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which is paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage in the memory department.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone draws power from a 5,000mAh battery which might carry support for 18W fast-charging just like the OPPO A93 5G. Last but not the least, the listing also revealed that the phone will be priced at 1,999 Yuan (US$310) and 2,199 Yuan (US$341) for it’s 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants.
