On August 12th, Honor will be holding a global launch event where the company is expected to unveil the much anticipated Honor Magic 3 series flagship phones.
Ahead of it’s official debut, details pertaining to the Honor Magic 3 series pricing had allegedly been leaked. According to Chinese publisher MyDrivers, the upcoming Honor Magic 3 is likely to be priced around 4,000 Yuan (US$617), while the higher-end Magic 3 Pro will possibly set you back by around 5,000 Yuan (US$771).
As previously confirmed by Honor, the Honor Magic 3 series smartphones will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 888+ mobile platform. In fact. this is the first time we are having a non-Kirin chipset on Honor’s flagship Magic series smartphones.
Apart from being the first to feature the new chipset, the Honor Magic 3 Pro is also reportedly coming with a revolutionary under-display selfie camera just like the upcoming ZTE Axon 30 smartphone. This means it’ll be coming with an unblemished front display that’s free of notches or hole-punches.
As for the vanilla Honor Magic 3, reports suggest that the phone will not be coming with an under-display selfie camera. Instead, it’s tipped to arrive with a pill-shape cutout which houses a pair of front-facing cameras. Furthermore, it’s tipped to be a 6.76” display which offers a sharp 1334 x 2772 pixels screen resolution.
Coming back to the Honor Magic 3 Pro, the device is also said to be boasting a periscope telephoto lens that offers up to 100x hybrid zoom. Likewise, we’re also hearing that the Magic 3 Pro will support up to 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging as well.
