OPPO has officially announced a new 5G entry-level smartphone in the Chinese market dubbed as the OPPO A93s 5G. This device, as it’s name suggests, is largely similar to the OPPO A93 5G, but swaps the Snapdragon 480 chipset for a Dimensity 700 chip instead.
For starter, the OPPO A93s 5G features a 6.5” LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 600 nits peak brightness, as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera housed within a hole-punch cutout situated at the upper-left corner of the screen.
At the back of the phone, the OPPO A93s 5G boasts a rectangular camera module which is home to a triple-cam setup comprising of a 48 megapixels main camera, 2 megapixels portrait lens, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera.
As what we mentioned earlier, the OPPO A93s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which is paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
At the helm, the OPPO A93s is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. Aside from that, the phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and is shipped with ColorOS 11.1 (based on Android 11).
