Motorola Edge 20 Pro Renders Leaked Ahead of August 5 Launch

Motorola will be taking off covers from the Edge 20 series of smartphones on Aug. 5 in China. The lineup includes three phones such as Edge 20 Lite, Edge 20, and Edge 20 Pro. Among these, the Edge 20 and Pro models are expected to go official in China in the coming week. Ahead of the launch, reputed tipster Evan Blass has shared a press render of the Edge 20 Pro.

The Edge 20 Pro is expected to replace the Motorola Edge+ flagship from last year which came with a curved edge display. The leaked render of the Edge 20 Pro shows that it will not be featuring a curved edge screen. The back panel of the phone has a triple camera unit with an LED flash.

Motorola Edge 20 Pro specifications

Past reports have revealed that the Edge 20 Pro will be equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Snapdragon 870 mobile platform is under the hood of the device. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery, which carries support for rapid charging. The device may ship with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of built-in storage.

It is expected to arrive with a front camera of 32-megapixel in global markets, whereas its Chinese variant will feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera setup of the phone features a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens that also works as a macro camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto snapper with 5x zoom support.

The Edge 20 Pro is expected to offer other features like an in-display fingerprint scanner, a Google Assistant button, a mono speaker, and display output support. Apart from China, it is expected to release in multiple markets like Asia, Australia, Europe, India, and Latin America.
