Motorola Edge 20 Fusion announced with Dimensity 800U chipset

Motorola has officially announced a new mid-ranger smartphone dubbed as the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion. This device actually shares largely the same specs as the Motorola Edge 20 Lite, but sports an upgraded MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset instead of the Dimensity 720 that was found in the latter.

Starting with the frontside, the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion sports a 6.7” OLED display with FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, HDR10+ support, as well as DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.

In the imaging front, the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion arrives with a triple-cam setup at the back comprising of a 108 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. This will be rounded out by a 32 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video-calling purposes.

As mentioned earlier, the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion will be powered by an octa-core Dimensity 800U chipset which will be paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.

The phone draws power from a 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 30W fast-charging. Other than that, the phone also gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

For those who’re interested, the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion is priced at INR21,499 (US$290) and INR22,999 (US$310) respectively for it’s 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB variants in the Indian market.
