Samsung Galaxy A03 Core unveiled with Unisoc SC9863A chipset

Samsung has silently announced a new budget-friendly smartphone known as the Galaxy A03 Core which appears to be the new successor of the Galaxy A01 Core that was launched last year.

The new model comes with a 6.5” IPS LCD display which brings along a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera that helps with selfie and video calls.

Around the back of the phone, it has an 8 megapixels camera along with a LED flash for low-light photography. Interestingly, the camera area also has a textured finish to it, just like the Galaxy A01 Core.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A03 Core is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A chipset which is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage which supports memory expansion via a microSD card.

Moving on, the phone also draws power from a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging speed. Those who’re interested can get the device in either Black or Blue colorways. At the moment, pricing and availiabity details of the Galaxy A03 Core has yet to be announced by the company.
