As scheduled, Xiaomi has officially announced the new Redmi Note 11T 5G mid-ranger smartphone in the Indian market. Although this device bears a brand new moniker, but it’s inherently a rebranded model of the Redmi Note 11 5G that was launched in the Chinese market last month.
Right off the bat, the Redmi Note 11T 5G features a 6.6” IPS LCD display that brings along a FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, as well as a 16 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfie and video calls.
On the rear side of the phone, it sports a dual-camera system that’s housed within a rectangular camera bump that comes with a two-step design. These cameras include a 50 megapixels main camera along with an 8 megapixels ultra-wide unit.
At the helm, the Redmi Note 11T 5G will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
Moving on, the phone also packs a respectable 5,000mAh battery that carries support for 33W fast-charging. Other than that, the Redmi Note 11T 5G also brings along a 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IR Blaster, as well as IP53 rating for dust and water resistance.
As usual, we can also expect the device to be shipped with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box. For those who’re interested, the Redmi Note 11T 5G is priced at INR14,999 (US$200), INR15,999 (US$213) and INR17,999 (US$239) respectively for it’s 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB variants.
