It’s already been in the news for quite some time that POCO will soon be launching the brand new POCO X4 series smartphones in the global market, even though the company remains tight-lipped with respect to it’s launch date.
Since the launch is around the corner, it’s no surprise for us to begin hearing more about these devices, and the latest leak apparently came from the folks over the SmartDroid who’d apparently published their hands-on images of the POCO X4 Pro 5G which revealed the front and rear design of the phone entirely. It’s worth noting however, that the article and images had since been removed from the site.

The images revealed that the POCO X4 Pro 5G would be coming with a waterdrop-notch display that’s accompanied by some fairly slim bezels along the sides. Also, we can see from the wrapping that the phone actually features a FHD+ AMOLED DotDisplay with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate which is definitely a sweet upgrade over the LCD panel used on the POCO X3 Pro.
On the flipside, that’s where things are a bit more interesting as the phone appears to feature a sizeable rectangular camera module that sits horizontally in the upper-halve of it’s backplate. It’s also obvious that the phone will be equipped with a triple-cam system which will be lead by a 108 megapixels main camera along with possibly an 8 megapixels ultra-wide and 2 megapixels macro unit.
Similarly, it was also confirmed that the device would be fitted with a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast changing support. These specifications hints that the POCO X4 Pro 5G might well be a rebranded model of the recently announced Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G with some changes to it’s exterior design. If that’s the case, then we can expect the phone to be powered by the same Snapdragon 695 chipset under the hood as well.
