Samsung has officially unveiled a brand new Samsung Galaxy A73 5G smartphone in the global market which will be succeeding last year’s Galaxy A72 5G smartphone. The new model brings along some decent upgrades across the broad which makes it a worthy successor over it’s predecessor.
Right off the bat, the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G features a 6.7” Super AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution along with a fast 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and animation. Other than that, we’ll also get an impressive 32 megapixels front-facing camera that handles selfies and video calls on the device.
On the rear side, the phone sports a quad-camera setup lead by a 108 megapixels main camera alongside a 12 megapixels ultra-wide camera and a pair of 5 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.
Interestingly, Samsung didn’t reveal anything about it’s underlying chipset, though we know that the chip will have a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz. Also, the phone will feature up to 8GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Galaxy A73 5G draws power from a 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 25W fast-charging. On the software-side, it’ll be shipped with One UI 4.1 based on Android 12 OS.
For those who’re interested, the Galaxy A73 5G is available in a trio of colors such as white, black, and green. At the moment, the company has yet to announce the pricing details of the phone.
