Recent reports have claimed that Vivo will be holding a launch event in the first half of April in China. Today, the company confirmed through its Weibo handle that its next launch event will be held on April 11. It is expected to announce as many as three devices, such as the Vivo X Fold, Vivo X Note, and Vivo Pad.
The Vivo X Fold will be debuting as Vivo’s foldable phone. Leaked information that surfaced over the weekend revealed that it might be arriving in two configurations, such as 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage.
Reports have revealed that the device might be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. On the front, it may feature a 6.53-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, and on the inside, it may come equipped with an 8-inch QHD+ 120Hz display. Both screens are likely to be integrated with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The Vivo X Fold may draw power from a 4,600mAh battery that supports 120W or 80W fast charging. It is also expected to support 50W wireless charging. The device is likely to come in three colors such as blue, crimson, and orange.
The Vivo Pad will be arriving as the company’s tablet. The Snapdragon 870 powered device is expected to arrive with key features such as an 11-inch LCD panel, 13-megapixel dual cameras, a large battery, and stylus support. It may arrive in two options, such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.
The teasers for the Vivo X Note have yet to be released by Vivo. Reports have revealed that it will be a premium flagship fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. It may arrive in variants like 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage.
