After launching the POCO M4 Pro 5G (Review) back in February, POCO is now back with a new M4 series smartphone dubbed as the POCO M4 5G in the global market which arrives with an even more accessible price point for those on a tighter budget.
For starter, the POCO M4 5G builds around a 6.58” LCD display offering a FHD+ screen resolution alongside a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Despite being a budget-centric smartphone, the front display is also equipped with an additional layer of Gorilla Glass 3 to protect the screen against accidental drops or scratches.
Over at the back, the phone features a dual-tone design with a dual-cameras array which houses a 13 megapixels main camera as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor for portrait shots. The phone doesn’t has a rear or in-display fingerprint scanner as it opts for a side-mounted one instead.
Under the hood, the POCO M4 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which will be paired with 6GB RAM and up to 128GB built-in storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the POCO M4 5G is also backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. Software-wise, the phone will be shipped with MIUI 13 based on Android 12 OS out of the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from a trio of colors such as Poco Yellow, Cool Blue, and Power Black. Pricing for the phone will start from €219 ($223) for it’s 4GB+64GB trim and goes up to €249 ($253) for it’s top-of-the-line model with 6GB+128GB configuration.
