Nothing fans are eagerly waiting for the company to share details of the upcoming Nothing Phone (1). Earlier this year, the brand said that the smartphone would debut in the summer of this year. Hence, the device is expected to break cover between June and September. Now, the German publication All Round-PC has reported that the Nothing Phone (1) will be debuting in July.
The publication claims that it has learnt from a European dealer that the Nothing Phone (1) will be made official on July 21. It added that the device will go on sale, or its launch event will be held on the said date.
The report also mentions that the device will be priced at around 500 euros. Hence, it appears that it could be a mid-range smartphone. Some reports have claimed that it will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, which went official recently.
Last year, Nothing introduced its first product – the Ear (1) TWS earbuds. The company had revealed some of its key features before making it official. Hence, the company may adopt the same strategy for the Nothing Phone (1). Hence, it is likely that the company may start revealing the key features of the smartphone in the coming days.
In an interview with Wallpaper.com, Nothing CEO Carl Pei and design head Tom Howard revealed that the Nothing Phone (1) would sport a transparent back. It will allow users to view some of its innards such as the camera and wireless charging coil. This indicates that the device will carry support for fast wireless charging.
