But before we get too excited, let’s keep in mind that the Redmi K50i wouldn’t be a completely new device as it’s likely to be a rebranded model of the Redmi Note 11T Pro which was recently announced in the Chinese market with an attractive starting price of just $270.
As such, the Redmi K50i is expected to build around a 6.6” IPS LCD display offering a FHD+ screen resolution along with an ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate which put the phone on far with other gaming-centric smartphones in this aspect.
In the imaging department, it might feature a triple-cam setup comprising of a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up shots. For selfies, it also has a 16 megapixels front-facing camera tucked into it’s centered punch-hole cutout.
Under the hood, the Redmi K50i will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset which will be paired with up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage in the memory department.
