Xiaomi 12T Specifications Leaked Well Before Launch

Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro flagship phones are rumored to be in the works. These phones will succeed the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro, which debuted in September 2021. Hence, it is likely that the Xiaomi 12T series will debut around the same time this year. Well ahead of the launch, popular tipster Mukul Sharma has leaked the key details of the Xiaomi 12T.

Xiaomi 12T Specifications (Rumored)

The leak reveals that the Xiaomi 12T will be sporting an AMOLED panel with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The leak has no information on the screen size of the 12T. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.

There is no word on the Xiaomi 12T’s battery capacity. It will also carry support for 120W fast charging. It will come preinstalled with the Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top. It will offer other features such as NFC and OIS support for the rear cameras.

The device is tipped to arrive in two configurations: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It is likely that the device may come in a higher variant featuring 12 GB of RAM.

The Xiaomi 12T was recently approved by the FCC certification platform. The listing revealed key features like Wi-Fi 802.11ax, support for 7 5G bands, NFC, an IR blaster, and GPS. In the next few days, we should find out more about the Xiaomi 12T series.

Rumors are rife that the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro are likely to be rebranded as the Redmi K50S and the Redmi K50S Pro, respectively, in China. The global markets may also receive another variant called the Xiaomi 12T Pro Hypercharge. While it is unclear that the Xiaomi 12T will be launched in China, the 12T Pro is likely to be released in Japan.
