Xiaomi is reportedly planning to launch the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G as the successor to last year’s Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G. The upcoming Lite model has appeared in a couple of hands-on videos in the past few weeks. Some live shots of the device have also appeared in the past. Now, Evan Blass, a well-known tipster, has released new renders of the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G that show its design from all sides.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G renders reveal that it will be arriving in three colors: green, black, and pink. It appears to be a toned-down version of the Xiaomi 12 / 12 Pro. On the front, it has a flat AMOLED panel with a selfie camera cutout at the top-centre position. It appears that the display could be integrated with a fingerprint sensor.
Moving on to the flat-edge frame of the device, it has a speaker grille, a microphone, and an IR blaster at the top, a volume rocker and a power key on the right, and a speaker grille, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a SIM card slot at the bottom. The left side of the device is barren.
There is a triple camera unit and an LED flash on the rear shell of the device. The ‘Xiaomi’ branding is the other thing that can be seen on the phone’s back.
Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G Specifications (Rumored)
An AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate will be available on the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G. As for the device’s back, it will include a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 5-megapixel macro lens, while the front will have a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
It is expected to run on the Snapdragon 778G processor. Both 6 and 8 GB RAM models with 128 GB of storage are likely to be available. Fast charging is supported with a 4,500mAh battery and a 67W charger. It will come preinstalled with MIUI 13 based Android 12 OS.
