Tomorrow (Aug. 17), Vivo will launch the Vivo V25 Pro 5G in India. While the company has been teasing the V25 series, it is unclear whether the vanilla V25 will debut tomorrow alongside the Pro model. The landing page of the V25 is now available on Vivo Thailand’s website. Apart from confirming its key features, the page reveals that it will be announced on Aug. 25. At the same time, several YouTubers from Thailand have uploaded hands-on videos of the device.

The Vivo V25 5G’s hand-on video as well as official images available on Vivo Thailand’s website show that it has a teardrop notch AMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint scanner on the front. The rear shell of the device has a 64-megapixel triple camera unit with OIS support.
The V25 5G images show that it will be available in gold and black colors. The gold variant’s AG fluorite glass back can change colors when exposed to sunlight or UV rays. The device is equipped with flat edges. Its right edge has a volume rocker and a power key. The bottom side of the V25 has a speaker grille, a USB-C port, a microphone, and a hybrid SIM slot, which also supports a microSD card. The device lacks a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Vivo V25 5G houses a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen that produces an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a 50-megapixel selfie camera. Its rear camera setup has a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro snapper.
The Vivo V25 is powered by the Dimensity 900 chipset. It features 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of native storage. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 44W rapid charging. It runs on the Android 12 OS, which is overlaid with the FunTouch OS UI.
