After launching the Reno8 5G in the global market last month, OPPO is now back with a new 4G model which packs a completely different design along with a different set of specs. This device will first be available in the Indonesian market and is likely to be launched in several other Asian markets in the coming weeks.
Right off the bat, the OPPO Reno8 4G features a 6.43” AMOLED display with FHD+ screen resolution along with 90Hz refresh rate. On top of that, it also has a 32 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls.
Over on the rear side, the OPPO Reno8 4G sports a rectangular-shaped camera module which comes with an unique dual-tone design. There will be a total of three cameras comprising of a 64 megapixels main camera as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage which supports further expansion via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on will be a respectable 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 33W fast-charging. As usual, the phone will be shipped with ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 OS out of the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colors such as Dawnlight Gold and Starlight Black, and will be priced at 4,999,000 Rupiah ($339) for the 8GB+256GB trim.
