iQOO is reportedly working on expanding the iQOO Neo 7 lineup. In October, the company unveiled the iQOO Neo 7 featuring the Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset. Earlier this month, it unveiled the iQOO Neo 7 powered by the Dimensity 8200 SoC. The next device in the series is reportedly called the iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition.
In a recent Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station said that the upcoming iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition will be equipped with a flat display. In the comments section of the same Weibo post, the source said that the device will come with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 mobile platform, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of storage.
A few weeks ago, the rumor mill claimed that iQOO was working on the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1-powered iQOO Neo 7s handset. It appears that the same device could be coming to the market as the IQOO Neo 7.
The iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition appears to be the V2232A, which has been approved by the 3C certification platform of China. The listing revealed that it may arrive with support for 120W fast charging.
A leaked photo of the alleged device revealed that it will feature a flat display with a centrally positioned punch-hole. The OLED panel seems to be integrated with a fingerprint scanner. It appears that the device will arrive with an OriginOS 3-based Android 13 OS.
The other details of the iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition are yet to be revealed. But it’s likely that the device will come with a 5,000mAh battery, a 50-megapixel triple camera system with OIS, and a 120Hz AMOLED screen.
