Realme 11 Pro+ to feature new Dimensity 7-series chip

Realme 11 Pro+ is expected to launch in May. Recent reports have claimed that the device will come equipped with the Dimensity 1080, which powers the Realme 10 Pro lineup. However, according to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the Realme 11 Pro+ will be equipped with a new Dimensity 7-series chipset. In all likelihood, the same chip will power the Realme 11 Pro.

Recently, China’s TENAA authority approved two Realme phones with the model numbers RMX3770 and RMX3740. These devices are expected to debut in the Chinese market as the Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+. Both models are also expected to debut in various other markets outside of China.

A 2.6GHz octa-core processor powers the Realme 11 Pro and 11 Pro+, according to the TENAA certifications. And now, DCS claims that it is nothing but a new Dimensity 7-series SoC.

MediaTek has recently launched the Dimensity 7200, which clocks at 2.8GHz. The differing clocking speeds available on the chip that powers the Realme 11 Pro duo suggest that they will feature an entirely new chip.

The Realme 11 Pro+ will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with curved edges. It will support a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels and a 2160Hz PWM high-frequency diming. It will have a 16-megapixel front camera and a 200-megapixel (1/1.4-inch sensor) + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit, a 5,000mAh battery with 80W / 100W charging, 16 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage. The 11 Pro+ will measure 8.2mm and weigh 183 grams.

The Realme 11 Pro will have a 100-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system and 67W fast charging. The rest of its specs will be identical to the Realme 11 Pro+.
