Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi Civi 2 in September in China. Last week, the brand confirmed that it would soon announce the Xiaomi Civi 3 in China. Today, the company released an official confirmation through its Weibo handle that the Civi 3 will be announced at 2 pm (local time) on May 25 in the home market.
The below poster also hints that the Xiaomi Civi 3 will be equipped with a round camera module. Hence, it appears that the device will sport a new rear design as compared to its predecessor. It appears that in the following teasers, the company may reveal the entire design of the phone.
Xiaomi Civi 3 specifications (rumored)
The Xiaomi Civi 3 is expected to arrive with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with curved edges. It will offer an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The display is also said to have a pill-shaped camera cutout, which will house a 32-megapixel main selfie camera and a 32-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The back panel of the device could be equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX800 primary camera with OIS support. The phone will run on Android 13 OS, which will be overlaid with MIUI 14.
The Civi 3 is likely to be powered by the Dimensity 8200 chipset, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. The highest variant of the device may feature 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It may pack a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. At present, there is no information available on the price of the device.
