A new Y-series Vivo phone named the Vivo Y27 has been spotted in the Google Play Console’s database. The listing has revealed some of its key specifications, along with its model number. The same name and V2248 model number have also appeared in the list of Google Supported Devices. Now, that the device has appeared on these Google platforms, it appears that it will not take too long for it to break cover.
The Vivo Y27’s Google Play Console listing reveals that its display supports a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels along with a pixel density of 440 ppi. The device is powered by the MediaTek chipset, which has the MT6833 model code. It appears to be the Dimensity 6020 chipset, which is nothing but a rebranded version of the Dimensity 700 chip.
The device is equipped with 6 GB of RAM, but there is no information available on its storage or battery capacity. The device can be seen running on Android 13 OS. There is a possibility that it could be a rebranded version of the Vivo Y35 5G phone, which went official recently in China.
The Vivo Y35+ 5G has a 6.64-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display and is powered by the Dimensity 6020 chipset. It is available with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. It houses a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
The device features an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies. On its back, it has a 50-megapixel primary camera and an unknown secondary lens. It runs on the OriginOS 3.0-based Android 13 OS. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
